The Japanese ARS Tailor's Shears with sturdy aluminum handles and screw-on blades are rust-protected and can be ground to a net shape. Their blades are forged, ground and chrome-plated. With the adjustment screw you can regulate the pressure of the blades yourself and thus strengthen the cutting performance with thicker fabrics.
