The KAI 7240SE is the micro-serrated variant of the 9.5-inch professional scissors and solves a typical problem in industrial garment manufacturing: smooth, slippery materials sliding away during the cut. The one-sided micro-serration holds silk, satin, coated polyester, or synthetic fabrics in position so the cut runs cleanly to the tip.
The KAI 7000 series was awarded the iF Design Award 2005. The patented Duplex Interlock screw maintains tension adjustment permanently. Blades made from stainless AUS8A steel at 58 HRC stay sharp significantly longer – particularly relevant for smooth materials, where any loss of sharpness immediately leads to ragged edges.
