ROBUSO Forming shear curved + cranked 1249/4/E/6"
To facilitate easy and precise work with our special developments, a fine micro-serration is applied to one of the two edges of the shears. It secures the fibers of the material during cutting and allows for a uniform and precise cut. Our customers also appreciate the smooth and even operation of our shears, which ensures a pleasant cutting experience.
Based in Solingen, we place great emphasis on quality and durability in the production of our shears.
Made from C60 carbon steel (non-stainless), they are handcrafted. With our 100 years of experience in manufacturing, our shears are known for exceptionally long service life and longevity.
Our ROBUSO Laminating Shears 1249/4/E/6" has been in use unchanged for many years, as its good leverage allows for easy cutting up to the tip. It is a very light model, specially designed for delicate work. The forming shear is fully nickel-plated, with curved blades and cranked handles.
The ROBUSO forming shears for technical textiles are primarily used for cutting wet laminates. The smooth surface facilitates the cleaning process after working with sticky materials. Residues on the shears are easily removed immediately after use with solvent. Curing of adhesive or resin residues should be avoided as much as possible.
The blue-pleated shear blades are a particularly special quality feature for shears. This fine grind ensures a particularly smooth and light operation.
The shears are particularly well suited for cutting carbon fiber, fiberglass, and wet materials.
