The Robuso tailor's scissors 1020/C/8" is a classical professional fabric scissors from Solingen manufacturing with 8 inch (21 cm) blade length. It is part of the Robuso own-brand line – uncompromising Solingen manufacturing with up to 85% handcrafted share, which clearly distinguishes it from ROBUR or PELLORO.
Forged from C60 carbon steel with approx. 59 HRC hardness. Carbon steel is not stainless, but has the advantage of allowing significantly higher forging hardness than stainless steel – the result is exceptional edge retention that stainless scissors generally do not achieve.
The blades are blue-polished – a traditional Solingen grinding process that produces a very fine grinding pattern that shimmers blue under light. The action of a blue-polished scissors is smooth and soft. The handles are powder-coated brilliant red for pleasant grip and high impact resistance.
