With a lot of love and care, our scissors are expertly aligned, sharpened, and assembled by our highly qualified sharpeners and nailers. For easy and precise work with our special developments, a fine micro-serration is applied to one of the two blades of the scissors. It secures the fibers of the material during cutting and allows for a uniform and precise cut. Our customers also appreciate the light and even operation of our scissors, which ensures a pleasant cutting experience.
We, from Solingen, place great value on quality and durability in the production of our scissors. Therefore, they are handmade from C60 carbon steel (non-stainless). With our 100 years of experience in manufacturing, our scissors are known for exceptionally high durability and longevity.
Our ROBUSO laminating shears 1253/4/B-CR/7" have been unchanged for many years, as they enable easy cutting all the way to the tip due to their good leverage. It is a stable molding shear for glass and carbon fiber, as well as wet laminates. The blades of the shears are curved and the handles are bent. It is ideal for trimming edges and corners in mold making.
The ROBUSO mold-making scissors for technical textiles are mainly used for cutting wet laminates. The steel-chromed, smooth surface facilitates the cleaning process after working with sticky materials. Residues on the shears can be easily removed immediately after use with solvent. The hardening of adhesive or resin residues should be avoided if possible.
The blue-plated scissor blades are a special quality feature of scissors. This fine edge ensures a particularly smooth and light operation. The scissors are particularly well suited for cutting carbon fiber, glass fiber, and wet materials.
